| Electric saws |

Took pity on my blisters yesterday and popped off to assorted DIY sheds to
try and buy a reciprocating electric saw - the type that looks like a big
electric carving knife, with a blade about 20 cm long. Could find plenty
of replacement blades, but none of the 4 places I visited had the saws
themselves (& being Sunday no staff knew anything about them). Might they
possibly have been withdrawn because they're dangerous? Has anyone else
managed to track one down recently??

De Walt have just produced a new model so I sugest you lok for a dealer
in Black&Decker, De Walt & Elu. Sory I did not note the price range.

Screwfix (s...@screwfix.co.uk / 01935 414141) list the Bosch PFZ550E at
99.99 inc VAT, but then again, they also think people will pay 120 quid
to join broken biscuits (I assume that's what it's for). Better add
:-), just in case....
