Walter Smith's men do not boast the flair of their opponents and have reached this stage on the foundation of a frugal defence, which kept four clean sheets during the knockout phase. The Glasgow outfit are appearing in their first European final since they won the 1972 Cup Winners' Cup and the omens are in their favour, as it was Russian team Dynamo Moscow who they beat to lift the cup that night.
