Zenit are managed by former Gers boss Dick Advocaat, who worked wonders to inspire his team to victories over German sides Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich en route to this stage. Walter Smith's men do not boast the flair of their opponents and have reached this stage on the foundation of a frugal defence, which kept four clean sheets during the knockout phase. The Glasgow outfit are appearing in their first European final since they won the 1972 Cup Winners' Cup and the omens are in their favour, as it was Russian team Dynamo Moscow who they beat to lift the cup that night. Theories surrounding the murders that occurred in a small New York town in 1974. Fifteen months after six members of the family were shot dead by the eldest son, the new residents of the property, the Lutzes, fled the house stating it was possessed by demons. Ronald DeFeo's defence team seized on the claim as grounds for a retrial, and though they failed in this, a legend was born. Last in series.

The story of Colleen Stan, who was kidnapped in California in May 1977. Her captor forced her to live in a coffin-like box and repeatedly tortured her, and his psychological hold over her was so strong, she went out to work and visited her family during the seven years of captivity. Featuring contributions from the victim, her family, police officer, prosecutors and the case's jury.

Part two of two. How Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agent Billy Queen infiltrated the Mongol motorcycle gang, who were embroiled in a murderous feud with the Hells Angels. Although Queen gradually became friends with the men and was racked with guilt over betraying them, the operation eventually proved a success, leading to 53 convictions.
